@Meteo: Strmšek the best one I think (if she stayed with club, I'm not sure).
Anyway, Bayer should not have any problems with them.

Ouch... it might happen that we see an Italian, Dutch, Portuguese or Swiss team in the next round but no Hungarian. I would say, very even pairings but certainly do look forward to them.

Edit: FTC's officers consider to play both games in Randers due to the Hungarian club's difficult financial situation.

FTC manager Lajos Maglódi would be very happy with a double Randers victory. We simply have no money for traveling so I'm sure Fradi will not fight hard in matches against the Danes. Probably both matches will be held in Randers.
In conclusion, I declare that EHF must be destroyed

HCM Ştiinţa Baia Mare-Rulmentul Braşov 37-28 (21-11)

In the first match Brasov won 31-26,so HCM will play in the next phase of the competition.

Rulmentul had available for this game only 8 players from which 2 were goalkeepers. :!:

Kuban def. Ormi-Loux Patras 26-22 (13:10) and reaches next round with 55:50 agg score. There was 2200 spectators in the hall (capacity 2300), what's the biggest handball attendance in Krasnodar over the past 2-3 seasons.

Serbian Kikinda also in the next round def. Alicante (ESP) with +4 in aggregate.

Since EHF exists, at least one hungarian team was always in the round of last 16.

By the way - is there any statement of the EHF concerning the matches of Smart - Vrnjacka Banja that were likely cancelled due to H1N1-Virus.

Next round of Cup will be played in 2010. I think Smart and Vrnjacka will meet each other later. ;)

EHF: Both the first and the second leg games of the EHF Cup fixture HC “Smart” (UKR) vs ORK Vrnjacka Banja (SRB) were scheduled to take place over the past weekend in Uzhgorod, Ukraine. However, due to a danger of epidemic, indoor public events are currently not taking place in the Ukraine. The games were rescheduled to 24 and 25 November 2009 to take place at the same venue.
