We`ll see Itxako in Main Round next season.
I`m sure they will reach place 2/even 1 in Group Phase.
With this team Itxako can make semifinals. :?
It`s a competitive team.
I think it`s better for Oltchim to avoid this team.

There will be some strong groups, but i think that Viborg,Larvik,Valcea,Gyor are the best 4....followed by Krim,Hypo and Itxaco..
Itxaco seems to be a good team but not for a semifinal(my opinion)

My young friend Didrik, you did some research on Ch.L.
Now you did figure out the difference between group phase and main round =D>
We are happy now

Suslina to Rostov.

Zvezda needs to buy a half team but there is no money in moscow reg like there was 2-3 seasons ago.

Suslina,,kareeva, poltoratskaya, romenskaya, shipilova, polenova players they lost on last two years....no wonder they made two weak champions league.
Portugal is in the euro 2008,finaly!!!!!

Don´t recall if it´s already been posted, but the new HC Odense(GOG) team is starting to take shape.

Nikoline Nielsen(1987) who showed HUGE promise is back after two years(!) injury break and another leftback, Thea Keller Roesbjerg from Sønderjyske, also signed.

Today there are news reports saying that leftwing Elisabet Pinedo Saenz of Itxako signed a 1+1 contract.

New press release and new players to SK Århus.

Here goes:

Several new players to SK Aarhus

Another two players were ready for SK Aarhus Handball League squad. These are the playmaker Lene Bendixen from Silkeborg / Voel and right wing Pernille Clausen from HEI.

Lene Bendixen is 25 years and now many years experience 1.Division, the original Aarhus girl came in last season with the National Team Development troupe.

Bagspilleren has the last four years playing in the Silkeborg / Voel in 1.Division and until Vri and Brabrand. Bendixen can play all four key positions in the defense and is very offensive stopped in his defense game.

"- Lene is an agile player who has developed his defensive game much in recent seasons, where we have kept an eye on Lene. It is probably best to tackle the player in defense, we will see Lene at SK Aarhus team, "says SK Aarhus coach Morten Arvidsson.

"- Some of Lene's other qualities are her fighter option as she played forward path has often demonstrated great overview. She is a breakthrough both dangerous and dangerous shot from playmaker position where she probably will play as many minutes with us, "explains SK Aarhus trainer.

"- It will be interesting to work with Lene Bendixen, who are very settled about it now must concentrate on handball, if it is to be in her career. She may be the big surprise on our team for the coming season, says Arvidsson.

For daily studying the 25-year-old inhabitants of Aarhus Nordic languages and literature - and also of religion at the University of Aarhus.

New right-wing

Pernille Clausen are the troupe's youngest player with only 17 years. She has just moved up on the club's U-18 team, which also meant that she must play in the majority of this season. But she will mainly train with Handball League squad - not least to develop physically.
The young right-wing selected for U-18 national team which will play youth Olympics in August.

"- Wendy is a very exciting player type with great potential, but she is still very young in Handball League context. She's incredibly determined and training readiness, which is a crucial starting point for becoming a top pills. She is very conscious of her own development and our job is to get dosed workout properly, so she develops best in the coming years, "explains Morten Arvidsson.
Think I will go for something possitive here - Handball is just a great sport!

According to my insider, she has spent some time in Rostov to negotiate terms and conditions.

Pidpalova.
I think that Pidpalova will leave Oltchim,Shymkute will leave the team too. 8-[
The Ukrainian Girls love Romania and the language and i don`t think they will leave Oltchim after a Cl final.
Rogan...i know her.She played half a season at Rulmentul Brasov and she was not so good...

and i think that Pidpalova,Vaschuk will leave Oltchim cause the team is very big...the case of Shymkute depends by Kovacs
Gavrilescu said that they will keep around 18 players......4 wings+3 Gk+2LP+3 Defence specialists:Szucs,Bese,Luca..=12+ the others:Vizitiu,Neagu,Ozel,Vadineanu,Gatzel,Shymkute,Tacalie(not sure),Meirosu(pregnant)-in her place maybe that russian player
i don't believe that we'll have 11back players next season-too many
but we must wait to see the Kovacs'plans and tactics
so i believe that 3 players will leave:1 keeper + 2 backs

Everybody's talking about the misterious Russian player, but nobody at Oltchim says anything about this. Playing it "cool", like always.

And the quote belongs to...
If it's from a newspaper, please remember that our journalists write all sort of crap in the handball section. Plus, we can see that the paragraph states that she will be getting along with the Ukrainian players; elswhere we can read that the Ukrainians are actually leaving... Nobody wants to be sincere and say something for sure.

I have nothing against you, I am just reluctant to any misterious stuff that's going on over there; I think it's best to wait until the club comes with some official statement.

The facts at this moment are:
- Kovacs is the coach
- Ozel is the only transfer
- Szucs will stay

I'm pretty doubtful that the mysterious transfer that you have been talking about for months will take place at all, but IMO the only Russian player that could be attractive to Oltchim at the moment is Ekatarina Davydenko.
