That's really tragic news. In the article Hanne Halén says Nora should quit handball. Do you think she's going to?

Very sad indeed...I hope Nora will take the wise decision for the rest of her OWN life .I'm sorry I couldn't atach an image with Neagu empathetic embracing Nora after injury . Now I'm affraid that Neagu will have the same destiny.

N Mørk shouldn’t quit yet; she needs the rehab and financial support/salary from her team during the next 9 months... it’s unwise to quit and not get the support for the injury she picked up playing for them

I can't imagine that contract haven't clause in this direction so the way of "advice" is futile .

Nora Mørk would come back for Tokyo, it seems that she don’t want to retire

Heidi Løke will miss the WC and will be out for 5-6 months due to a right knee injury, which she got in the match Friday against Brazil. She hopes to be back for the Olympics.

Any idea who might replace her?

No idea for the moment, I can only quote what Dr Weizman president of Metz declared:

"Our aim is to find a player capable of replacing Xenia Smits in our central defence. We are putting our networks at work but we do not want to hurry. It remains one and a half month before the champions league starts and we do not take a player just for the number. We are looking for a player bringing on a real gain, that will not necessarily play as a back player but with a defensive profile able to strengthten the team."

With the registration deadline for new players in the group stage being well and truly over, I can guess we can say that that search didn't lead anywhere.
idle banter.

It would be "good" to be only a twisted ankle. I hope its not another ACL, in a very normal situation with just minutes til the end of the match. I wish its just a scare and she stays out for a minimum period.

In a statement, the Lorraine club announces that its guardian suffers from a partial rupture of the anterior cruciate ligaments of the left knee. Complementary examinations will be done in eight days, to determine whether an operation is necessary or not.

Djurdjina Jaukovic suffered a mild brain concussion, she felt sick after the match and was taken to see a doctor and to take CT scan. She doesn't remember what happened. But she will be ok.

Update on Laura Glauser and Xenia Smits (Metz handball):

Surgery is necessary for Glauser. So she will miss the World championship in Japan and most of the season with Metz (6 month). She will try to be fit for the olympic games. Metz has already received some proposals for replacement and is now looking for a goalkeeper able to play the champions league (which means that the concerned player should not have already played even a single minute in the champions league this season with another club).

https://c.republicain-lorrain.fr/sport/2019/10/22/metz-handball-laura-glauser-va-etre-operee-des-ligaments-croises

Metz was also looking for a suitable replacement for Xenia Smits (right shoulder surgery) but did not find any interesting profile untill now. Xenia Smits seems to recover well from surgery, so it will be decided at the the end of this year if Metz really needs another left back.

In an interview with VG today confirms Veronica Kristiansen she won't be back before around new year. Even if Kurtovic also was on bench for Gyør last weekend she is also not available for Wch in Japan. Both of them will do rehab in Gyør in december
