T. Esbjerg: Jessica Helleberg 8, Nina Vassvik Jensen 5, Nanna Dragsfeldt 4, Lina Bannerholt 3, Maja Bech Hansen 3, Lotte Grigel 3, Angelica Wallén 2, Kelsi Fairbrother 1, Gøril Snorroeggen 1, Tove Seest 1.

Esbjerg said in advance that they would test alot of things and do experiments during the match. Looks like they also tried out several of the players that don't usually play so much.

Tvis/Holste.: Kristina Kristiansen 11, Anna Lörper 10, Mette Gravholt 9, Thorey Rosa Stefansdottir 9, Lisette Zeigermann 6, Ann Grete Nørgaard 4, Katrine Heindahl 2, Iwona Niedzwiedz-Cecotka 2, Rut Jónsdóttir 2, Louise Burgaard 2.

Judging from pictures, Sandra Toft was not on goal for TVis, at least they gave playing time for the second gk.

KIF Vejen: Maida Arslanagic 8, Mia Boesen 6, Tine Mikkelsen 5, Ida Bjørndalen 4, Louise Føns 3, Pernille Lund Knudsen 3, Young Sook-Huh 3, Camilla Larsen 2, Lise Binger 2, Pernille Frost Andersen 1, Charlotte Højfeldt 1.

Pfff... what a stupid draw! They should've just put Germans, Russians and Spanish to play among them and all would've been peachy.

What a thriller this was and praises to Lotte Grigel who not only scored 12 but also the first 6 Esbjerg goals alone. Esbjerg was without Wallen, Snorroeggen and during the match Ågren got injured. TTH was without first goalkeeper Sandra Toft.

In the end I'm very pleased that TTH won :D:

Team Tvis Holstebro - Team Esbjerg 27-24 (16-11)

Team Tvis Holstebro: Mette Gravholt 7, Ann Grete Nørgaard 5, Anna Loerper 4, Louise Burgaard 4, Kristina "Mulle" Kristiansen 3, Thorey Rosa Stefansdottir 2, Lisette Zeigermann 1, Iwona Neidzwiedz 1.

Team Esbjerg: Lotte Grigel 12, Nina Vassvik Jensen 3, Rikke Zachariassen 3, Tove Seest 2, Jessica Hellerberg 2, Kelsi Fairbrother 2.

Kain is doubtful before KIF Vejens match today. The first match ended 30-30 so they have to win.

Vejen should be clearly better than Leverkusen, otherwise fairly even draws as far as I can judge. Having seen both Alicante and Milli Piyango playing in the last two weeks, it's a bit harsh that one of those teams will play in the semis. But once more, I can't recall any year the EHF Cup looked so pale and week.

Since non-qualified CL-teams get to CWC instead of EHF Cup, this competition is doubtless a 3rd division of European Handball.
In conclusion, I declare that EHF must be destroyed

Sandra Toft will probably play against Lada this week, very importent for Tvis, but the question is how fit she is...
