Larvik is the only team who has won all games in the Norwegian league in the same season, and has done so six times . Larvik is unbeaten at home in the league since March 14th 1999. In 07/08 Larvik made history by winning their 10th league title in Norway. No other team has achieved that in Norwegian handball; male or female. This year the club is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Norwegian champions have signed few great players for the next season. Gro Hammerseng & Katja Nyberg are coming from  HC Midtjylland, Linn-Kristin U. Riegelhuth & Cecilie Leganger are coming from FCK Haandbold, and  Thea Mørk is coming from Njård. These signings make Larvik top concurrent  for the Champions league title.

We will start the preparations for the new season at the 2nd of August. The girls have been training all summer on their own, and almost all of them have been included in the preparation camps for the national teams. The following weekend we will participate in Stelioplast Cup 2010 in Wittlich, Germany. Two weeks after that we will go to Denmark and play the Nordic Open in Aalborg.  The domestic league starts at the 5th of September with a game at home against Tertnes.

We aim for the title in the Champions League, but so does many of the other teams. We will be a factor together with Oltchim, Viborg, Dinamo, Györ and a couple of other teams. It will not be any easier than last season… The main factor will be to include our new signings into the team and our way of playing. Fortunately a couple of them have been here before! In Norway we want to win every competition we enter, told  us the coach and Office manager of the team - Tor Odvar Moe.
