Allisin Pineau underwent a nose surgery yesterday and will be out for 4 weeks, which means she is also going to miss the EURO.

According to Podravka's website, the match has been postponed "due to the overall COVID-19 situation in Romania". Podravka even offered to host the game, but Valcea declined as they "could not arrange the travel on such a short notice". What I don't understand is how Romania is a...

Re: 2019/20 Champions League - Main Round - Round 4
They have a total of 21 players registered for this season, so 11 players should still be fit, right? Apparently Vipers also travelled to Denmark with 11 players. P. S. I imagine that flu is easily transmitted in a contact sport like handball, but they should have taken some precautionary measures, ...

Re: Road to Tokyo 2020 Olympics
Teams from other continents come under consideration only if both HKG and THA refuse to take part (then, a non-standard IHF decision should be made). Aren't there any rules or procedures for this? I mean, there must have been a similar situation in the past, so I wonder how the IHF handled it back ...

Exactly as I thought, which is why the decision to ban Rassmusen for using 'f.ucked' is nothing less than a scandal in my opinion. Not only does it present a violation of the right to freedom of expression, but also displays a complete lack of cross-cultural awareness on the part of IHF governing bo...

Regarding Rasmussen's case: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I often get to see swearwords in Danish or Swedish texts whenever I use Google Translate to read Scandinavian media. Does Google translate those correctly? I also know that in Dutch, for example, the use of English swearwords such as 'sh.it' o...

Re: Road to Tokyo 2020 Olympics
Actually, the best scenario would be the following: KOR finishes 4th in Group 1. In that case, no. 4 in Group 2 would automatically qualify for the OQT with Argentina and Senegal and the 7/8 placement match would be a popcorn petrecere.

Andrea Lekić unfortunately won't be part of Serbia's squad in Japan as a result of a raptured eardrum. She underwent a surgery earlier today and will be recovering for at least 3 weeks. https://www.b92.net/sport/rukomet/vesti.php?yyyy=2019&mm=11&dd=19&nav_id=1619261 https://xdn.tf.rs/20...

Re: Transfers 2019/2020
I doubt they will be paid like they were while playing abroad. I'm actually pretty much convinced their return has nothing to do with money, but rather with the ultimate goal of the Montenegrin handball - and that's participation in the Olympic Games. They want to be closer to the rest of the NT pla...

LW Ivona Pavićević is set to leave Budućnost at the end of the season. She wants to play in a strong national league. With the announced departure of Itana Grbić and the rumoured arrival of Majda Mehmedović, it seems that Budućnost's LW duo as of next season will be Mehmedović and the young Konatar .

A great player and a true sportswoman! She was one of the most iconic stars of the 2000s and early 2010s, so it seems reasonable for her to retire at this point. Hope she stays in handball.
