Now when everything is clear in group D and the 2 teams that will progress in 1/4 are known - I have a question for the Danes here:

Do you think Anja will send the B team on sunday vs FTC? This game has no importance for Slagelse, so do you think she will save the best players?

I don't think so. Anja seems to have abandoned the B squad plans altogether. They didn't play the danish cup either this year as they did the last couple of years. Anyway, this Slagelse team needs all the matches they can get to get their game to work.

I don't think so. After the match agaist Ikast wedensday and the match on sunday. The have a two week break until the next match, but you can never tell for sure.

It would make good sense use the oppotunity to give more time and responsability to players like Lungu, Batic, Steffensen and Møller in such a match, but a B team no.

I don't know about Slagelse, but I know Larvik will for sure. And why not? Why risk an injury before the crucial matches coming ahead, and also the youngsters will get more experience and confidence. A win-win situation.

At Leipzig Bøhn made his plans before the match (letting the youngsters play at least 30 minutes to get more experience), and refused to send in help when the going got tough. They had to bring it home by themselves, they knew it, and they did. Actually I think that was wise, because they did lighten up a bit in the end and showed more confidence. I guess that's why they didn't lose (as it looked they would).

I can tell that Aalborg properly will use all of there young players in Volgograd. This playing time will mean a lot for the girls, it will give them some experience of how it is to play a hard away game.

What do you think that young players can do in Volvogrado? Cementos has 12 goals of difference with Volvogrado but I'm worried about this. Do you think that Volvogrado can win by 5 or 6 goals or that Aalborg B can create problems them.
And any Krim fan can know if Krim Ljubiana will use young players too?

I think the young players can do alot, but they can't win the match, but I think that if Aalborg is getting behind with -4 some of the best players will play. So I don't think Aalborg will loose with more that top 3 goals

Latest news about Larvik before the match against Viborg:

Larvik HK was stuck in the bus on their way home from Kristiansand after a horrible match against Våg Vipers they won only 27-22. Normally this trip would take three hours, but because of the bad weather (heavy snow) they used 20 hours back home!

They are tired now, and if the match against Viborg had been important, Karl Erik Bøhn would have postponed the match. But it’s not…

As the girls just sat there in the bus being bored, they saw en elder couple showel snow, so they went out and helped them, and the couple were so happy they invited all the girls to their home for a meal afterwards :)

Latest news from Aalborg, Louise Pedersen, Matilda Boson and Kristine Lunde did not go with the team to Russia because of small injuries, and the Coach said he will use the match to give the young players a little CHL experience.

Oh God...this last round will be really boring. First and second place are already clear for all groups, no fun at all :|

I heard the Danes even tried to finish second on purpose to avoid meeting a danish team...jesus...

I joked about this in another thread, but I can assure you that it's nonsense.

Viborg - Larvik 12-10 19 min

I think it was 6-10 after about 10-12 minutes :o

17-14 HT

32-31 FT

VIborg had a clear lead through most of the second half but almost threw it away in the end...
