We have a new coach, Dragan Nisevic and a new right wing, Jelena Popovic (currently playing for Naisa)..... so far...

Don't expect any significant transfers. At this time Slagelse has 17 players under contract for the comming season - Lungu not countet - 2 or 3 more playes migth be added, but no known players.

2) Though I don't have any numbers, I would imagine that a top handball-clubs' expenses aren't determined by the # of players, but the the number of high quality, expensive players. Now if that's correct, Popovic (and probably Lungu) leaving should leave a massive gap in the payroll, even with Rotis coming.

If you couple that with
1) long-term plans in slagelse, which means higher probability of good sponsorships
and
2) Anja Andersens mentality - that it's only fun if you're playing for the gold (unless it's a long-term plan) -
(and about the long-term plan: with players like Leganger, Savic and even the young Turey, it doesn't seem likely that A.A should make a long-term plan to start over with young players, and win CL ex. in 4-5 years)

As I see it, it's a question about the right players. Anja won't settle for less than the best (be it a foreigner).

Postnova
Bliznova
Riegelhuth
A superb right wing

So it's all or nothing. I am pretty sure Slagelse had signed Postnova if they had the chance. Since the really star-like players cannot come (except for Rotis) she won't sign any at all. But let us see. I hope I am wrong.
I am aware that it is a question about money as well. But I really cannot see how that is an issue when you think about earlier investments from season to season in Slagelse.

Here are some news from Croatia:
Maja Cop is returning to Lokomotiva after a year spent in Sesvete. This is a great thing. She's a great pivot in my opinion.
Lokomotiva is also looking for a right back and some former players will return to the club. More will be known soon.

This is not yet confirmed officially but it's almost 95% certain:

Bernardica Vrkljan, left back, transfers from TVIN to Lokomotiva.

And Maida Arslanagic is going to Ribarroja. I'm happy she's going to a good club because she deserves only the best but I wish she picked Denmark. At the sam time I'm sad because this is the last season I'm going to see her play and Lokomotiva won't be the same without her. She's irreplacible.

This is a great loss for Lokomotiva, no doubt about it, Maida was/is the best Lokomotiva has at the moment!!! Not all the girls can adapt to Denmark and their league, so Spain might be better choice I think. I know the feeling when best are leaving... At least, she'll always be the great part of Lokomotiva
