Volleyball. Reaching the playoff final of the Danish national championships was the highlight of my career, unfortunately "only" with silver as the outcome.
But I was never a pro (not tall or good enough and no real money in the sport in DK). But I do know some pro and semi-pro volleyball players. Although volleyball is a very small sport in the Danish medias compared to e.g. football, handball, ice hockey, badminton and cycling; still volleyball is actually a much bigger sport globally than handball. I also know a few pro and NT players in some other sports like handball and have met a number of other pros.
Did you know Danish NT keeper Karin Mortensen's elder sister Bettina Mortensen used to be captain for the Danish volleyball NT?
And former Yoguslavian and Dutch NT handball star and among the topsocrers in the best Danish handball league Ana Razdorov Lyø is married to one of the Danish volleyball players who has played most NT matches of all time (Razdorov is still playing in the second best Danish league for Odense after giving birth to their child).
(Actually I have also played beachvolley for fun against former male NT player and current general manager for the Danish Handball Federation, Morten Stig Christensen  ).

I´m sure she will get rid of some more of the FCK players once their contracts expire, but still this is silly. All these good players in one squad:S Savic, Turey, Skovgaard, Hovgaard and Transel are all good leftwingers - a couple of them will get no playing time in the coming season.

On the other hand I´m pretty sure Anja will win everything with this squad.

From FCK the destination of Tine Mikkelsen, Madeleine Grundström and Sara Eriksson are still unknown. From Slagelse the same can be said about Rotis, Cubela, Ognjenovic, Krogshede and Louise Pedersen. I wonder where they are headed to? The foreigners are probably going abroad.

This thing is sooooooooo stupid! Now FCK bosses buy Bojana, Jurack and everything quality from VHK

Hope that in this chaos Savic will return home

Better here than on FCK's bench and with 10-20 minutes in game.

Yes this is sooo lame.. some players MUST KNOW that they're gonna sit on the bench allmost a whole season - WHY CHOOSE THAT?????

is it money? or prestige to win something with a club without playing one single minut???

Tonje Nøstvold has signed a 3-year contract with Ikast/Bording EH

http://www.ibeh.dk/ndefault.asp?id=481

She is going to be used as right back - allthough she aslo are wing.

Some other roumers says that young talent Mia Møldrup (16) right back also is close to come to Ikast...

Tihana Šarić signed 2 year contract with Buducnost! I don't know wethaer it starts now or this summer! I thinkk it is more probable to start this summer cause Buducnost don't need her until then!
Snežana Damjanac and Ivana Mladenović will probably leave the club!

She is OK, but nothing special... Hope that she'll help a lot :D

Where did U get information for Damjanac and Mladenovic?

I think that Buducnost will try hard to get Maja Savic back... ;)

Tiselj said that they are searching for pivot and left back. And if Vlahovic won't come back, they'll search for left wing.

Well I read it in "Arena" in the same article were they anounced that Šarić has signed a new deal!
As for Savić, well I thought that she is going to FCK, right?

I soppose it is from next season.

Too bad.
This means that Roquetas after all does not have strength to hold her. This season will be most probably remembered as the best season of Roquetas in clubs history and that's it.

Lots of ups and downs in Spanish clubs, nice to hear that Elda, Itxako and Bera Bera are doing great in European competitions.

Again all bunch of players from Ribarroja announced that they will leave the club. Also there will be changes in Elda.

I only hope that soon we will have some quality transfers TO Spanish league and not only FROM Spanish league. [-o<

A Romanian newspaper has also suggested that FCK will transfer Ionela Galca-Stanca from Oltchim Rm. Valcea.

I´d really like to see Galca in Denmark, but FCK? She will form a nice line-up with Melanie Smith, Mette Melgård, Marianne Bonde, Johanna Wiberg and Sara Holmgren
