They invested in every sport because they want to be the first in the medal table in the OG. But not the investements are important, they have a great selection area, from where to pick players. They just need to care a bit about the sport. They didn't cared til now about handball, now they care and they'll have results.
It's important to note that Norway would have beaten China with a solid margin if it had been an important match.
Marit Breivik played with two totally different set-ups, one very young and inexperienced set-up and one more experienced set-up. This tournament is all about trying out new things and testing players, so i don't think we should put so much into these results.
Set-up 1: Camilla Herrem, Tine Stange, Gøril Snorroeggen, Marit Malm Frafjord, Tonje Nøstvold and Vigdis Hårsaker
Set-up 2: Kari Mette Johansen, Marianne Rokne, Katja Nyberg, Karoline Dyhre Breivang, Linn Kristin Riegelhuth and Isabel Blanco
I addition to all this, the play in front of the goal wasen't good at all, a lot of missed chances.

If every team would score at any time they have a chance we probably would have only equal results. Any game is based on mistakes.
You said you had 2 different set-ups, blabla, but what do you know about China?? I'll tell you, nothing

Anyway, I'm sure that they didn't played with the first 7, all the coaches want to see all their players to work.
China will not be olympic champions, yes they can beat a top team but not three times in a row...
That's now, who knows how they'll prepare for next year. And, don't be mad at me because I didn't know that China can beat, the best team in Europe at this hour.

Romania did take China serious, Tadici said right after the draw, that the most powerful opponent is China, not Poland. Well, I hope now that we have the power to stop them.

Any sport they are dangerous in handball, fencing etc. mainly because
a) Their style is very unorthodox
b) They don't expose themselves very much to the internaional scene making them an unknown quanitity with the element of surprise in their hand
But clearly comps like this reduce b) but still....
