Oltchim - Viborg 33-30 (18-15)

Great first half, but who is this Bojana Popovic? I want to see more from the "best player of the world". From Oltchim great Dinu, Galca and Maier. Viborg only responding from Jurack.

2-0 Maier
2-1 Jurack
3-1 Galca
4-1 Maier
5-1 Olteanu, great Dinu 2 great saves and great pass for the fastbreak
5-2 Skov
6-2 Olteanu
6-3 Aaen
6-4 Aaen
7-4 Galca
8-4 Luca min.10
9-4 Meirosu
10-4 Bese

14-10 Maier, again Dinu great - save - pass
14-11 Aaen
15-11 Galca min.25
16-11 Bese
16-12 Reiche
2 min Bjorndalen, Rasmus chill they are fair, Tadici is not Prokop

25-24 Galca what a bomb
25-25 Popovic 7m

Well, they missed a couple of penalties for Aaen and Skov, but they seem to have a rather "hard" line(meaning they don´t give away many free-throws or 7 metres).. I´d say small home-team advantage, but nothing scandalous ot anything like that. Oltchim got so many return balls and were lucky with that, but Viborg didn´t look ready and their defense is as usually crap.

Galca is the difference. She is such a fantastic player.. Good first half from Jurack too, but already 2 X 2 min. This is very bad.

Oltchim will win this. They have a more broad bench.

hmm... 4-2 suspensions.. should have been 2-2 or 4-4 if fair. It's probalby fair considering playing away match in Romania

The situation where Luca clearly landed inside the goal-area WITH BOTH FEET and the goal was given... really put me over the edge. Might have been a 3m throw or penalty... but such goals are ridiculous :?

Otherwise... terrible start from Viborg... and when they got back... suspensions rained on them... some fair some a bit homecourt advange decisions. Viborg far from rough as usual... should play more rough... they would still get 4 suspensions either way :?

Great 1st half from Oltchim and Dinu. Great pivot :!:

PS: I never liked those french refs... always so arrogant :)

Oh, so you think that even if Oltchim players don't commit a fault, they should be penalised or what? Let's eliminate both of the players when a fault happens, for Rasmus to think that it is fair ... take a walk.

I'm not aggressive, I just hate when a person understands what I say, but still has a need to argue. Of course they are giving Oltchim the home advantange, you will have it to, don't worry about that. Who Romania, and who's Denmark in handball? :? I mean about money..

Great result for Valcea...

Viborg clearly not playing like a team yet... and they're not ready at this point.

I still hope Ryde will quit or get fired, but no such luck I guess

Galca played fantastic, after this match I think she made it clear who is the best lineplayer in the world. Dinu in the first half and Tolnai in second we're great, these 3 we're the keys. Congrats to Oltchim, and to Viborg also, but I don't know if so many stars are a good thing for a team.

Oltchim - Viborg 33-30

33-30

Viborg had so many matchballs, but great play from the goalkeeper(and not only DINU )

In the end the saves decided the match and Olchim scored the last 3 goals.

Great saves, but in a way... poor finishing

Especially Reiche, Aaen, Skov and Jurack missed some huge fast break opportunities in the 2nd half. The Viborg goalkeepers had a poor day too.

So to sum it up... a fair result

That´s nice. Go Aalborg - oh I forgot. The only way they are going is down :!:

Anyway, the win for Oltchim was okay. Viborg had the chance to go ahead on two occasions when first Skov and then Aaen missed 100% chances in fastbreak.

Galca scored 10 goals on 10 attempts, got about 5 penalties for Oltchim and sent a Viborg player out for 2 min. about 3-4 times. She was the difference for sure! WAUW, better than Bodnieva?..

And Tolnai came in and did well. Bord and Buy style of refering suited the Romanians better, but the only thing I was unhappy about was they didn´t whistle for attack foul on Luca in a couple of incidents. And didn´t give enough free-throughs especially the last one to Popovic.. But I´m just babbling on here.

Congrats Oltchim - you have a great team that can go all they way.

Thanks for your fairplay :D .. too bad that Elisei and Luca are not at their potential because of the injuries and we miss very bad a playmaker. i think that with the comeback of Gatzel this thing will be repaired..

Now I am very sorry I wasn't able to see this match between Oltchim and Viborg... :(

Reading Horia's post (thank you BTW) it was clear that the game was tense, but great and interesting.

Congratulations to Oltchim, now this group will be madness

I forgot to say bravo to our girls from Buducnost last night =D> =D> =D>. They really did what they said they will... The fight all the match and did a great job.

Finally, we have Buducnost that didn't lose the head when it was most important! That is what impressed me the most, and their playing in attack can be better, but there is time...

I think Jurack also had an opportunity in the closing stage to bring Viborg ahead. But who cares now ;)

Congartulations to Buducnost! :D Very nice to see you winning again.

And to Oltchim of course as well. Although I did root for Viborg. Therećs always the rematch. ;)
Galca is fantastic I always though so, even when she played for Podravka you could see she was a class above the rest.

Thanks for the great update Horia! =D>
