Sorry, I only saw the above conversation after posting on another topic. Here's a short video featuring a statement by Serbia's coach, with a couple of rather amateurish excerpts from the match. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUl6YxT5-no

Looks like the Great Britian national handball team is back after a 3 year hiatus with a test game against the Faroe Islands:

idle banter.

Re: International friendly matches
God help us indeed...
Jesus, I know I said it before many times, but this is certainly the end of the golden era. The team Hergeirsson have picked is very unbalanced, and we miss giants in the defense big time. We have so many FB specialists, light footed and with high speed, but they are also small and lightweight, giving our goalkeepers a hard time, when trying to make some kind of defense...
Grimsbø and Solberg had the poorest performance for a norwegian NT GK in 20 years...but it's basically because of the weak defense IMO. Yes, it's easy to say we miss Lunde too ofc, and even Hergeirsson is now realizing his big mistake, and do open for Lunde according to TV2, like when he called for Sulland in EC 2010 during the tournament. Let's hope so
Best player of the match? Our only senior left...Heidi Løke
Does it ring a bell, Hergeirsson????

We need more seniors, Hergeirsson, and Lunde is one of them!!!

You think i asked that question because i think we would win with them in the team? That i'm interested in winning in the friendly match?

I'm curious because they will be needed for rotation so i'm interested are they sick or have a minor injury or there is another reason. Especially for Grbic.

They are all healthy and fit, but spent the entire match on the bench.

Re: International friendly matches
Now attack shall win championships...
Norway-Netherland 31-28
There are no more defense specialists in the new norwegian NT...only FB specialists that shall score more goals than they let in. Good luck with that...
Netherland scored 28 goals even with Grimsbø doing more than just OK... Hergeirsson seem lost, don't know what he wants anymore, and his messages just crap. Coaching below zero, and this man will be in charge until 2020. God can't help us anymore, we are beyond that, it's all about fastbreaks specialists now, and we have A LOT OF THEM.
Veronica Kristiansen fastest of all, running 40 meters in 5,05 seconds (a full handball arena length), so I'm not saying it's totally hopeless, but my God, I don't think the world of handball have seen such a specialized team before..EVER. It's totally insane, and I cannot believe this can win a championship at all. CRAZYYYYY!!!!
Nora Mørk in good shape, scoring 9 goals. Thank God for that
(0-40 meters in 5,18 seconds btw)

I don't know what to say...I'm speechless. Hergeirsson have gone mad, and need professional help ASAP!

PS! if you wonder how fast Veronica Kristiansen is, Ezinne Okparaebo, born in Nigeria and arriving to Norway as a nine year old, and is now Norways fastest lady of all times, record holder on 100 and 200m. She is the ONLY woman faster than Veronica in the whole of Norway
Veronicas times:
0-10 meter: 1,51 sec.
20 meter: 2,73 sec.
30 meter: 3,90 sec.
40 meter: 5,05 sec.
Nice

Ok. They weren't listed so i had to ask. It's really strange Grbic didn't play at all.

Grbic,Despotovic and Malovic traveled with team, but they didn't playe.Jelena has easy enjury,We use this matches to practise new actions, not to win.In 2014.we won Poland in qualifications 22:25 without 7 players,so definitly we are better than them,ih that time for Poland also played their the best back shooter Alina Wojtas.I want her fast recovering!

Training game for Romania against Cuba! Ana Maria Tanasie showed that she is in a very good shape. For sure she is in a better shape than our captain, Valentina Ardean Elisei.

Re: International friendly matches
Entertaining matches ahead
jesus, it's such a mess, it's just "back to normal" for the running up to a big tournament for Norway
This team of youngsters are certainly something else than we are used to from old times to put it mildly. Our famous "Rock hard defense" is history, instead we have a lot of fastbreak specialists, that allows for a superfast gameplay that will be very entertaining at least. Looking forward to it
It's just to save some nails, cause they will be bitten hard on for every single match coming. Norway will let in many goals, that's for sure, so they have to score many more...and our shooters have not kick started yet, so it's pretty far away from promising. Still, they have speed, and like to use it, so it will be fun for as long as it will go. Yep, it will be fun entertaining no matter what, but also end in tears this time at some point...
Lunde or no Lunde, we still have decent goalkeepers at least. Solberg saved 50% second half against Sweden, and that made it possible to win with one goal in the end...time to stock some valium

Any one knows where Korea is hiding ? Do they have test matches these days ahead of the World Cup ? If, yes, where and when and what are the results ?

Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.

They had 3 more games against league clubs from Serbia and Hungary scheduled during that training camp. But I have no idea about the results of these games.
