Re: World championship China 2009
Valentina Elisei (expected torn cruciate ligament) and Nadine Krause (shoulder) will miss the WCh. Krause is 100% for sure.

Elisei as well, she´s out for a minimum of 6 months. So, no CL for her this season any more.

Well, if Kiki is not fit for China, then Edin will be included in the squad, 100%.
Not good if the coaches think the same way. There should not be any connection or association between these 2 facts. Because:
1.It is clear that Kiki may reach squad to WC, but she definitively might not reach her good form.
2. They play in absolutely different styles and Anja should learn to play more bright and easy as Kiki (now).
3. If Kiki is in squad then moreover there is not place for Urne and Alstad.

Edin should have been there no matter what. Also I question Tine Stange before Tine Rustad who I think is much better both in attack and defence...

James, u r as usual with not wise comments regarding handball. Tine Kristiansen is ok, but much worse in defence and not so good in attack (I mean she can not attract defenders as good as Stange, and if not, they have risk to get a ball in the net). But I would take from the rest: Edin, Kristiansen, Urne and Sulland or Svestad.

. Well, I don't think there is a chance for Görbe to play. I'm totally sure she won't travel to China. But as far as there is a little hope it seems Mátéfi wouldn't let her out of the team...

Re: World championship China 2009
Krisitine Lunde-B might reach WC according to her interviews to Norwegian medias although she recognize that she will not be 100% in the best forms but 3 first matches that she could miss would be helpful a bit as well as her experience from the past. So, rather good news for Norwegian NT (even though it might turn into just words), but they need Anja Edin in any case.

Ágnes Hornyák declared she won't participate in WCh. She spoke about preparing for some school exams...
In conclusion, I declare that EHF must be destroyed

It's a shame but overall probably won't make a huge difference in us getting our a$$es whooped

Smedescu, Tivadar, Lecusanu, Meirosu?! Good thing Vadineanu, Vizitiu and Geiger are in the squad, but man they need some playing time. Going for a medal without a professional CB?! Hmmm... anyway it's his choice. Good luck to the team!

Why should Vizitiu be in the squad? She gets less and less playing time at Oltchim and she only managed to be on the playing court 5 minutes in 4 games in Champions League. She's a talent but she needs more playing time at the club.

Re: World championship China 2009
It seems we won't have Amariei either at this WC.
Voina is an idiot. He will take Tivadar, Lecusanu, Meirosu who are much worse. I'm sorry but we won't win anything because we are stupid to leave this "coach" run the show with his relatives. Ok, you don't take Amariei, you don't like Amariei, she misses or I don't know, but for God's sake, kick Narcisa OUT. And Tivadar like...what? Vizitiu or Geiger would have been much better choices. Or why not Bradeanu???? She's playing again, why would you call Tivadar? Ok, maybe she's in a good form, but if we talk about form and taking players for their form, let's give Lecusanu and Meirosu a rest. The idea with 3 pivots it's ok, because it's most likely that we will have to play a lot with 2 line players, of course we will have, with that awful backcourt.

Re: World championship China 2009
I also don't like Voina, but you are mistaken in your post. Amariei will play at Mobelringen Cup and WC for Romania. Dunno where you got your infos from, but the FCK player, alongside Varzaru and Stanciu will come dirrectly in Norway.

Perhaps Anja Andersen said no for Amariei to play for the NT. At lest Anja said NO to Linn-Kristin Riegelhuth (FCK) for playing with the NT at Mobelringen cup...I begin to wonder if we will see Linka in China...
