The selection of ROMANIA against Ukraine for the EURO 2010 Qualifiers, 1st leg at Zaporozhye (31th March) and 2nd leg at Buzau (3rd April):

Goalkeepers - Paula Ungureanu, Mihaela Smedescu (both Oltchim).

Players - Iulia Puşcaşu, Oana Manea, Ionela Stanca, Ramona Maier, Adina Meiroşu Fiera, Cristina Neagu, Narcisa Lecuşanu, Patricia Vizitiu şi Valeria Beşe (all from Oltchim Râmnicu Vâlcea), Nicoleta Dincă, Florina Bârsan Chintoan (U Jolidon Cluj), Ada Moldovan (Dunărea Brăila), Carmen Amariei (FCK Handbold), Cristina Vărzaru (Viborg HK), Aurelia Brădeanu (Gyor ETO).

Brădeanu's return is the best thing here, also Beşe who didn't play in China. Romania is very strong now, because they have these players with experience. Strongest squad possible, just Stanciu the goalkeeper from Iceland is not here and Valetina Ardean-Elisei still injured...

Slovakia's team for matches with Montenegro.
Come back for Porvaznikova and Stuparičova. Dubajova won't play (pregnant) and Školkova injured.
Slovakia will have only one day for preparations (Mar 29th), and next day will fly for Podgorica, then with bus to Pljevlja. It means that they won't have any preparation matches... 8:)

GK: Žaneta Tóthová (Békéscsaba), Adriana Grandtnerová (Slovan Duslo Šaľa)
LP: Martina Halásová (Mainzlar), Ivana Trochtová (Slovan Duslo Šaľa)
Wings: Dagmar Stuparičová (Esbjerg), Lucia Súkenníková (Britterm Veselí nad Moravou), Eva Hodošková, Zuzana Janšáková (both ŠKP Bratislava)
Backs: Lýdia Jakubisová (Trier), Denisa Glankovičová (Leverkusen), Zuzana Porvazníková (Borussia Dortmund), Veronika Pajtášová (Cercle Dijon), Petra Popluhárová, Alžbeta Tóthová (both Slovan Duslo Šaľa), Petra Beňušková, Andrea Kertészová-Hrmová (both ŠKP Bratislava).

I told you, I told you :D
Unfortunately, with one day of preparation we will be crushed in Montenegro..... And what will happen in Hlohovec shouldn't be so interesting...

Interesting. I didn't hear anything about that. Maybe it would be a good move by our federation.

He refused...

As things stand now, Maja Savić will miss Montenegro's qualification matches against Slovakia due to family problems. :|

Probably not, but she can always have a place in best 28! ;)

I think it wouldn't be a smart idea to risk her play. We have to solve it without her. We have PÁLINGER again!!! :p

Interesting: Hornyák is not in the squad although she performs well in Győr on RB position. She is a great defender and very matured in attack. The reason: she had a conflict with Mátéfi last year, before WC. She refused to play in the NT because she was busy with her exams, plus she told this too late. The head coach couldn't tolerate this behaviour.

For me joke of the year so far:
Marek Góralczyk from Polish Handball federation said: "IF Poland loses both games against Russia, Przybylski won't be NT coach any more" :jocolor:

Goralczyk is the former referee?

By the way: Any known streams for today's matches?
(I'm especially interested of course in a stream from Belarus)

Click on the blue box "TV uživo" (on the top of the page) and it just requires you to have the Real Player installed.

Shame for Romanian TVs. No one was interested to broadcast our NT's match from Ukraine. I hope our girls will win there. [-o<

Greece - Turkey 14-27 (9-13)

Think we can see tow surprises today, austria with Acimovic and Rotis but missing subke and Ukraine...Romania always lacking motivation on the national team, andf they will for sure win big time at home - but it is cold in ukraine, and the home team is not that bad...
