It still doesn't necessarily mean that the training methods are effective. You've said yourself that the players looked uncoordinated and had poor technique. Now, perhaps there were better players around and Tarca didn't select them for some reason. I don't know. Or perhaps they are the best she could have chosen and yet they're simply not that good.

Groups A and D particularly difficult (good thing Croatia isn't in one of them  ). The others are ridiculous. Don't know if the WCh at this category of age should have been a 24 teams tournament. Maybe for boys, but definitely not for girls.

It is often that I don't understand what goes on in the little brains from the Basel offices.

I'm curious of the Dutch. Their result was not bad at last Euro U19 and it seems they were good in this Qualification Round.

Tough group for Montenegro, but I hope that they will pass to Main Round.
Yeah, A and D are stronger...

Yes, I think Croatia will fail in that group B and I am excited if they will pass Slovakia, Slovenia or Ukraine the free PanAm-spot

Croatia would be a huge challenger for Korea, I guess?

Team Korea

http://www.handballkorea2010.com/en/team/team.asp?sch_NAME=NAMEENG&sch_GROUP=B&depth=2&NSEQ=8

CB Lee Eun-Bi and RB Ryu Eun-Hee are national team members as well.

P.S. I think they are still making other teams' pages.

Okay, let me clarify. The Danish federation cancelled the 90-91 NT - they prefered to spend the money on a national B-team. (I guess they didn´t think there was so much talent on the 90-91 and the few players that had - Grigel, Okkels, Fisker - are already more or less part of the senior NT.

The Youth Olympics in Singapore is for players born 92-93 - here Denmark will send a B-team of players from 92-93, whilst the first team will play at the WC in Costa Rica.

Understood! But I think it's the Dominican Republic, not Costa Rica. Anyway, thank you for the explanation
