I really don’t understand why all this mystery about that Russian player? And why nobody is saying who she is? ;)
Besides, this subject should be brought in discussion when that player will actually sign a contract with Oltchim … Until then; there is really no point in talking about it (because we don’t even know who she is).
It’s just a thought :D ;)

mad_mike is right. I'm pretty tired of virtual transfers (remember Barbosa, Kochetova etc). Until it's announced official, I won't believe anything.

The transfer wasn't confirmed officially until now, but it looks like Inna already signed in Rostov.

Officially confirmed.

Finally, something in the Romanian newspapers: it's about Koroleva. We will know for sure on the 5th of July if she'll come or not.

I wouldn't be so sure that the player is Koroleva, our journalists like to speculate or to lie!

:)

It is either about Postnova, Kochetova, Bliznova, Suslina or Thaussova ;) or not interesting at all, considering the power Oltchim already has for the coming season.

Oh, I think I remember her (vaguely, though) - was she AKVA's playmaker from the beginning of the 2000s? She was pretty good, as far as I can recall - I even didn't know she was that young when I watched her. Too bad she quit so early.

Btw_it's Tchaoussova - pronounced as 'ch'. ;)

As always when we talk about "old days" I remember (due to my old age  )
I remember she attracted some attention in DK already when she played in
Russian youth national-teams.

Suddenly she disappeared out in nowhere ? ( injuries-lack of interest ? )
I believe she stopped before her handball-career peaked.

Am I correct if I compare her to Levina or Khmyrova nowadays ?

Did she win Junior World Championship in Hungary in 2001? In a thriller final against Görbicz and co! I was there and I remember her name!

She did ;) Also won Germany 1999 U18 EURO (she was best player, playmaker and topscorer of the tournament).

This story isn't confirmed, but anyway... She married an owner of big trade network in Volgograd. Later they divorced, but a mobile phones shop remained for her, so she ran a business. She had some offers to comeback from Dinamo, but didn't accept.

I think she can be compared with them.

Maja Savic just signed a 1 year contract with.... Viborg HK :!:

Perhaps quite unexpected, but I think this is a very good solution for both parties. And I´m sure Bojana also played a part in making this possible. Savic is one of my favorite players and she deserves to play for a top-club once more before ending her career. Also now she gets the privilege to focus on playing as a wing, which Anja hasn´t really allowed her to do for quite some time.

One funny note though. Viborg didn´t prolong with Gitte Aaen, because they wanted someone Danish, younger and cheaper. So they sign Savic? She´s foreign and both older and pressumably more expensive than even Aaen. Not very logical.

according to the info VHK sent out it was because they couldn't find a good enough danish player that was available for the next season, which is why they've made the deal with Savic, her daughter is also going to playing for the youth club.

It wouldn't surprise me if someone returned to VHK after this next season to take over the reigns from Henry/Savic :) At least it's worded in an interesting way the info they sent out.

By this transfer Hypo make themselves fools.

What did they say why they didn't prolong the contract with Aaen?

With Gunnar one of the most controvesial persons in handball retired. He is the heart and soul of Hypo NÖ. It will be interesting to see, how Hypo can live without him...
For me Hypo NÖ will always be Gunnars club!
