Transfers 11/12
Re: Transfers 11/12
What is with Vizitiu?
Yes,probably she choose Oltchim to be sure she will be with Patricia.Friends are more important than winning competitions.Because competitions passes, friends stays.

Why does she choose "for Vizitiu", for family and supporters, i understand, but Vizitiu....... ?
They've been really good friends and unsepparated since junior level (before Austria 2006). For me, it's a bit difficutl to understand too, but she is a very mature person (at 22!

In the long run, I think it's the better choice and I think that she thought that getting at VHK at 24 or 25 isn't that "late".

The important thing is that she is staying.
I, for one, am really happy with her choice!!!!!

Re: Transfers 11/12
I Like meteo's questions, especially this with the budget.

We are in Romania not in Bundesliga Men's.Anyway Oltchim is too strong comparing with any other handball team in Romania. But i was surprised.
We have the biggest budget at women's clubs handball?

10 million euro?

Viborg's budget was bigger last year. Larvik's budget will be also higher, I'm quite sure. Of course Oltchim will have one of the biggest budgets - because they have one of the biggest team rosters.
@Didrik: It is always hard to compare budgets I know. There are taxes, insurances,... - At least the budget is now more than twice ass high than the page before

Larvik HK met with Simona Spiridon in Vienna on Wednesday on a possible change of her to Larvik. Nothing is certain but it would be a nice change, Heidi to Györ and Simona to Larvik.

It might be an interesting one, the team was in Vác on Wednesday, playing the 17th round of the Hungarian championship, Simona Spiridon was there aswell...

well, according to the Romanian Federation, after a two (or three, can't remember) years hiatus, the Romanian Cup is back and will be fiercely contested.

With this decision Oltchim has a big chance of losing against Buducnost. You don't change a coach 2 days before a game for no reason.
On the long run it may be a good decision, but the risks taken before such a crucial match are enormous.

I really hope I won't and we will win. I am just analyizing the way all this stuff happened.

He mixed up male and female handball.

Budgets are based on public interest in general.
Might be on top on this forum but not in reality.

I was really shocked to see this huge change on such short notice. That's the first thing I thought about, but Oltchim had this experience two years ago when Rimanic was fired and Voina came on a Friday, right before a match against Krim. However, the game against Buducnost is 100 more important and more difficult, therefore this move was quite shocking. A large part of Oltchim's fans are happy, but I can't help and I'm thinking about the differences between Kovacs and Andersen. After preparing the game against Buducnost with a certain gameplan for almost two weeks, our players have to learn Andersen's approach. On the other hand, they have the raw talent to win by themselves this game, but it won't be easy and every attack will be important as hell on Sunday.

Ann Grete Nørgaard, Nycke Groot and Mette Gravholt considers leaving Team Tvis Handball.
A.G. says she have been contacted by other clubs, and that shedo not want to play at a team placed in the lower end of the league.
Groot guess have other offers, but just says she is considering here obtions.
Gravhold missing Copenhagen, and want to move back to the capital, by the way do not get why she is not in the nationsl team, she reminds me a bit, just a bit of Heidi Løke.

Think I will go for something possitive here - Handball is just a great sport!

I'm so amazed Gyor is letting on of the best defense players in the world, if not the best, go. Or does she want to leave because she feels she can't compete with Loke when it comes to attack play?

Re: Transfers 11/12
Ann-Grete Norgaard:She must go on a better club:VHK(if she receive an offert,but i don't think so)or Randers,KIF etc.
Simona Spiridon-Heidi Loke
Simona is older and she started to score less and less goals. She is stronger than Loke in deffence but not so efficient like Heidi. So the situation will be Gyor a big +,Larvik a big -.They should reinitialize Vigdis Harsaker.
Or sign Heidi Loke's sister which is also pivot.

Spiridon can defend as good as Loeke. Of course Loeke is a phenomenon concerning the offensive game, but that doesn't mean that Spiridon is not a world class pivot. So the "big +" / "big -" thing is just too exagerated. As for Haarsaker, I am almost sure that she was a wing and not a pivot.
