Aalborg DH ensures Sjølund Signe Pedersen.

It is with great pleasure that Aalborg DH can announce that Sjølund Signe Pedersen coming to Aalborg from
next season. Signe is of many critically acclaimed as one of the greatest talents in Danish handball right now.
We have the last couple of years followed Signe's development and it is a development which has been consistent with the arrow upward.

Signe has shown that she includes almost all aspects of the game, and despite his young age already
shown in the league that she will in future play a big role in Danish handball. Signe has for many years been an integral part of the Danish youth national, where she also has shown his great talent.

We are pleased to welcome Signe and get her integrated in our team who are starting to emerge, a team which will be in constant development with many young Danish players. Which of course must be seasoned with the right routine in several places.

Signe says:
"I am really looking for a new chapter in my håndboldliv, besides the change clubs, it's also a great thing to leave home, where I have always been based and solid support from my family.

I've been in Aalborg as a player but also been over to look at conditions in the autumn of that play is an impressive backdrop, and I am glad to be home team in the backdrop.

Meanwhile, the good relationship the club but also a city with a good study that makes that I can get all the stuff to go up. "

CV Card:
Ul17 EM Gold, 2009
U18 DM Gold, 2009
U18 Olympic gold, the tournament's top scorer, 2010
37 D matches - 140 goals
Think I will go for something possitive here - Handball is just a great sport!

Ana Batinic is going home to Serbia after this season, she wanted to get out of the contract, as she wants to have kids. She had a contract for next season as well.

Yeah, much like her best pal Budimir. Horrible career choices ruined them both.

Well, hopefully Ana will get her wish soon and become a mom. :)

Győr's transfer plans for 2011/12:
Spiridon will leave for sure (which is a huuge mistake IMHO, unless she has some injury problems).
Bradeanu has an offer for next season, she hasn't decided yet, but probably will stay.
They're going to sign a CB-LB, the contract has already been signed - probably Lekic.
They need a RW, because Mravikova will finish her career. The main options are Manaharova/Radicevic.

Oltchim should make a move for her.

Well, it seems that it is pretty sure. Not 100%, but still … close enough.
I really hope she’ll stay!!!!!!!!

Both Manea and Stanca are good pivots but they are the same type. Transferring Spiridon would be excellent both for attack and defense. I don't think that's going to happen though as both Manea and Stanca signed new contracts with Oltchim.

How much is the yearly budget of Oltchim? 5 Millions? 10 millions Euro?

Their budget for 2010 was 1.4 million: 60% (840k euros) from the chemical plant (Oltchim) and the rest from 20 other sponsors, TV rights and ticket sales.

That's my hope and dream atm, that Oltchim will at least give a thought to Spiridon for next season. She would be a great addition to the roster.

Of course it is hard to know which "sidecosts" a club has, but I wouldn't believe such a low budget when I look at the big and high quality team roster that Oltchim can pay. Just calculate the average salary before tax (and including costs for cars, flats, insurance) if you assume 70% of the budget for players salaries.

The players have their own cars, the insurance came as a sponsorship from "Astra Asigurari (Insurance)" while the rented flats are very cheap, as Valcea is a small town (I'd say 2-300 euros / apartment). :)

As I said, i don't know about the sidecosts, but if a player for instance should get a net salary of about 2000 Euros per month than the costs for the club are about 6000 euros in total due to insurances, taxes, cars, flats,...

You'll say insurance is sponsorship so it is in the 1.4 million euro budget (but in Germany the players not only got health insurance, but unemplyment insurance, retiring insurance,...)

It's always hard to compare, because I don't know how are the costs in total, but at Oltchim the players have an average salary before taxes of 3700 Euro and Neagu shall get 12500 monthly? It's hard to believe that you'll have such a big difference within a team. But nevermind, I am always sceptic with the budgets that clubs call out. ;)

Of course the budget is bigger than tekkie wrote, but that's what the officials said.

It’s official!!!! Neagu stays in Valcea!!!!!!!!
She said that she is very happy and that it wasn’t a difficult decision for her.
She explained that a lot of reasons pushed her into signing with Valcea again: friends, family and fans.

Lovely. my comment from today about Neagu prolonging her contract disappeared.
Is there a forum bug or the admin just delete some of them ?

On the other hand good news for Valcea that they will not lose their best component : Cristina Neagu. =D>
