Re: Injuries
Allison Pineau injuried herself during HCM Baia Mare's game against Iuventa on Friday. One of her knees failed her 1 minute into the game; she might have recurring ACL problems. Nothing is confirmed, yet. Further investigations are needed.

Update: It's good news. She did an MRI and sent the results to a bunch of doctors and the conclusion is that the injury is not that bad, she'll rest one month & get treatment, but might be used in the Champions League qualification games in september.

Re: Injuries
Nadia Offendal is with 99% probability out with an ACL for the rest of the season, which she aquired in the cup match against Ringkøbing. This is such a misfortune for Nadia who with a good season might have had a chance to go to the WCH. Also a disaster for HC Odense who've built their team around her and upgraded their team in the hope of reaching top 4 this season. They might have to go and find another PM if they can. I hope she'll recover well (and not too soon)!!!
Odense also had two other players injured in that match, Kamilla Kristensen is out with a broken wrist and Jennie Linnél hurt her nose.](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)

Re: Injuries
Dijana Ujkić - a new player of Budućnost out till the end of season (ACL injury)!
She was supposed to help Petrović and give her rest in CL. Great form in pre-season games.

Re: Injuries
Looks like "ligaments rest" for the Spanish Larahawk Lara Gonzalez Ortega after the today's Spain-Austria ECh qualifier. Hopefully it turns to anything less serious in the next days...

I saw the game and imo she was way too energetic by running towards the Austrian defensive wall... In her previous matches I had the same impression: she had absolutely no fear and thought she can go through the wall like knife through butter. Get well.
Re: Injuries
Lara Gonzalez is out for 2 months with torn internal ligament. She will miss the WC in December.
Re: Injuries
Andjela Bulatovic has a shoulder injury and she should go to surgery. That will probably mean that she will be out for the WCh in Denmark, or will have little time to recover.
This is a disaster, since she is one of the key players in defence.

Re: Injuries
Well, it is a big blow, but it's not really a disaster. We need to learn to cope with injuries, you can't always have the best squad at your disposal. Norway was far from complete last year, but they still managed to win the EC.

We saw how our defence functions without the key players.
But that's not the problem Stefan, the problem is that Adzic doesn't rotate much, you think Grbic and co. would be in the team if Jovanka and the others weren't injured or sick? I just hope that the juniors satisfied him, so they can become more regular. Because he gave them the chance now against much weaker opponents, but on EC or WCh it's the same old story. The juniors play the last 10 minutes against weaker teams but only if we lead +10, but against better opponents they sit on the bench.
I can't wait for the CL to start, to see if Adzic will use Jaukovic and Malovic against CSM and next year against Gyor, Vardar and FCM (and by that i mean more than 5 minutes and not in the dying minutes).

I'm so sorry for her. At her best performance she is put to a dramatic stop.

I welcome your post with enthusiasm.

Re: Injuries
During the game against Sweden, Jasmina Jankovic (NED, TuS Metzingen, goalkeeper) twisted her knee. She suffered an ACL injury and will be out for the rest of the season. A big blow for the Netherlands and Metzingen.

Re: Injuries
One more thing about the HUN injuries:
They say we only had the right to use the MRI once, one examination only.
Tomori said to Görbicz: You should take it, my injury is certainly a serious one, but let's not have any uncertainty about your one.

+ one more addition to the Poland-Hungary game, even Krisztina Triscsuk's injury happened during that match, and proved to be more serous than previously thought, she needs 3-6 weeks recovery time (the central bone of the hand is injured).

They happened on the matches Poland played, but telling "Poland produced" these injuries is not correct.

I think otherwise.
