Re: About the CSM Bucharest project
I don't want to get too political, but this topic should be watched.
These days politicians in Romania decide how much money the city of Bucharest will get in 2019. What we have right now is a draft (not voted yet) that caused lots of talks. There are claims that there's gonna be a 25% cut in the city's budget, comparing to 2018. That means 180 mil. euros less for the City Hall of Bucharest. If this draft will be voted, it'll be interesting how much money CSM will receive.
ProSport already published this sort of political article detailing how much money CSM received in 2018 and where did they go. They claim the whole club received 15.8 mil. euros: 4.5 for female handball, 2.5 for male handball + the rest. If the City Hall will have -180 mil. euros for this year, will the City Council still back CSMB with 16. mil euros? That's to be decided in the following weeks.

"It is a very big sum for Romania and as competitive as possible with what we can find in handball in Germany and France. The difference is that the money is private. "
Most certainly women teams in Germany can't count on 4.5 Million Euro.

idle banter.
Re: About the CSM Bucharest project
According with Herbert Muller, Thuringer has a budget of 1,2 millions Eur; Bietingheim has a 3 time more budget. Also Dortmund and Metzingen have bigger budgets than Thuringer. Maybe the medium budget in German championship is 4-500.000 € but the budget of these clubs seems to be OK This is the link: https://www.orange.ro/info/sport/handbal/2818851 - the interview is in Romanian.

Re: About the CSM Bucharest project
It is not so known, but most (no, all!) german clubs are indirect sponsored by the state.
eg. some of the main sponsors of Thüringer HC (Stadtwerke Langensalza and Baumkronenpfad) are owned by the state (communal and district - Bundesland). These companies are operating formally independend, but there is big political influence.
But there are private sponsors (partially with big assigmnents by the state or communal political interests) too - and enterprises without any obviously connections to the polititical sphere (eg. the owner of Olympia - the big sponsor of Bietigheim).
It is a myth, that german club have no political financial support - eg. all german clubs are supported from communal banks. The biggest sponsor of german handball federation is the AOK, a semi-state health insurance.
Sure, the sums are moderate - woman handball clubs are only pure regional affairs without any nationalwide interests and nationalwide tv-transmissions (otherwise german clubs would play the role like their men clubs)
A club with a public resonance like CSM would have in germany a etat of 50 Mio or much more €
So it is good, that woman handball as international competive sport is so unpopular in germany (even though there are hundred thousends of female handball player and kids in many clubs, but with falling tendency)

Re: About the CSM Bucharest project
Do not know why CSM didn't focuse to solve contracts on fixed players like Neagu ,Lekic and Omoregie and then try to bring Nora if Kurtovic go to Gyor . Even if Miss Nox (Nyx) is comming, the contribution in defence on RB will be weak, may be she can do this rather on her opposite wing . With her knees-history I doubt she can play NL,RO Cup,CL, match-after-match manny minutes each match ....without another RB to make the ugly sides of the 'wars' . And to be fair from now on , even Neagu,Lekic have themselves some age ....they can't do the impossible on every three - day - match 60 min on highest levell.
And I know I 'll irritate many but only Dedu ,CSM didn't solve that big frustrating problem of CSM's goal. It is time to end sinecures and warmish places in CSM . And my meaning not only to some players ....

Re: About the CSM Bucharest project
Perhaps on QF CSM vs. Podgoria ... Succes to Radicevic and Mehmedovic !
May be for Bazaliu THC (Herbert Muller) would be the best choice ....Would be wanderfull if these two clubs make for 2 seasons one mutual (reciprocal) loan exchange Bianca Bazaliu - Alicia Stolle .

Re: About the CSM Bucharest project
I have some reluctant feelings to talk about THC-CSM on consideration THC is the lowest team on group but I must emphasize good things in atack but also too many goals (30 ?) I have the impression we relax too much second half in defence . I liked all the players with special mentions on Lekic,Omoregie,Radicevic, Curea and of course ... Gruba .
I appreciated Constantinescu's tries to shoot on goal but is good to know that in CL you will have 0 chances if you shot on hands of GK's...though I noticed her brilliant assists (some were unexpected, fast and really intelligent !)
Also Manea remembered us of her past best days...and Bazaliu had one of her hip-throwing.Hagmann did also some good assists.

Re: About the CSM Bucharest project
My romanian isn't great and neither is the translation that I got of this article, but it's Vasile Stanga that makes statements about the signings that CSM has made, and not Neagu, correct?

He thinks Neagu will not extend with CSM and he is not happy with the transfers for the next season. In his opinion only Dedu and Pintea are really good deals and also gives no chance to this team against Metz.

Re: About the CSM Bucharest project
that's correct.
he mentioned something about this though: the others are in fact disposable players if their current clubs didn't sign them.

Re: About the CSM Bucharest project
the discussion moved to the next season as the coach who will come from the summer has not yet been announced. Instead, the batch is 90-95% complete. The team was formed following a bunch of ideas gathered from several coaches with whom CSM Bucharest discussed during this period to take over the team from the summer. "The explanations I have received from the Board of Directors are that they have been contacted by potential coaches who have sent their visions and strategies to build the team. This is how the team was formed next year. 3-4 names were everywhere as they saw their future construction, "said Gabriela Szabo.

Ryde's statements style :
There is nothing fixed [about CSM's coaching] so I can not say anything about it We will see what will happen these days It is quite complicated for the moment
It is very interesting to be able to build a club team There are two different totally different positions, the club coach and the selector. It is working differently, so it would be interesting. We
are at the stage of negotiations in several respects, important things. In some ways it is rush because the players have to prepare for the new season "In other respects, there is no hurry, we see what we can do, " Ryde told Telekom Sport

Looks like team manager Nicolae Luca was sacked (his resignation was requested by fans for a while now) and he's rumored to be replaced by Vlad Enăchescu (general manager of Telekom Romania, who virtually has zero experience with handball)?
