The first group is obvious, the second looks like it's Romania and Montenegro and the third one is wide open, anything can happen, really.

Superspecial motivation for Poland - against Russia again + Poland at home + Sweden as the third warrior. In fact, this group might be even the most exciting one, I'm million percent sure about that!

Both groups are pretty cool. The third one is worthless.

Not an easy tournament. All teams will progress until then, but after the 2nd week of this WCh, I trust our team.
Denmark is indeed in a tough spot. I just hope Uruguay will be able to travel.

You don't have to be afraid from us at all. :D
We don't have a captain, an organized team and most of all, influence at IHF to put us in.
Given a gift, we have to play with Ferencváros I believe :)
But having the "no chance" position is sometimes good, I give you that.

It seemed like they wanted it to be over as soon as possible. I have never seen a team so uninterested in a game. Lazy to defend, not even trying to make a foul, in attack they were pretty much ok. Also Adzic started to rotate which he never does, so Grbic played as PM almost entire match, Jaukovic started good with 3 bombs and then he pulled her out of the game and put Despotovic in  , Klikovac instead Bulatovic, Rajcic... I know Jovanovic, Lazovic and Barjaktarovic are injured so maybe Adzic didn't want to risk with other players.

We will see how fit and in form the teams will be in march. I don't see any team as favorite. Anyone can go through and anyone can finish as a loser.

It would be really a shock if no team from former Yugoslavia makes it to Rio. I cannot help myself to imagine a united team of what used to be YU...

This will be a monetary question in so many levels. First, you have to bribe Uruguay, to participate in the qualification. Others will bribe them not to participate. Second, you have to bribe the IHF apply at the IHF for the organization rights. Presumably, the highest bidder will win. And there is a chance that Germoney will organize the tournament anyway :)

We (HUN) will try our luck with Mexico. Their group is more attractive.

A lot of players came injured on this tournament, but they gave their best. 100% from MNE is risky because Adzic uses the same players always. And there we see how much we miss Andjela Bulatovic the crucial defensive player and Radmila Petrovic.

Germany will certainly not bother with their women's team.

But yes, there's a higher chance for Mexico to withdraw. Still, teams from American zone take precedence in case of their withdrawal, so you'd have to make sure none of them apply to replace them.

Anyway, I believe both Mexico and Uruguay will play.

What a strong tournament that will be.

Romania/Denmark/Montenegro group.

I think Romania and Denmark deserve to go further, as Montenegro simply didn't want to fight at all after the elimination to Norway.

Hm, so WCh placement doesn't guarantee hosting rights? If so, I expect the other two tournaments to be held in Denmark and Sweden.

Or maybe just they didn't want to give it to Netherlands in case they decide to pull out again. :-"

Perhaps they are banned, and can not bid for organizing anything until...

Yep, I've checked, they're banned until December 2016.
Still, that was really quick from IHF to announce France as the host, it must mean they've already been in consideration. We'll see what happens with the other two groups.

So does Denmark, I've just read it. And I'm sure Romania does as well.
Maybe they'll make a compromise and give it to Uruguay. :p

Yes, it does :D. The president of the Romanian Handball Federation is certain that Romania will host the tournament.

Actually it would be "most fair" if the tournament was on neutral ground. Uruguay though is a bit far away :)

The other 3 nations would have a huge advantage if hosting, they can all mobilize a big homecrowd...

FFHB says the other 2 tournaments will be in Denmark and Russia. Do they know something we don't?
Is IHF getting ready to screw us one more time? It's the wild west over there, there seem to be no rules to be taken into account.
On the other hand, the president of the FRH seems pretty confident the tournament will be in Cluj, while the Montenegrins are also talking about the possibility to host it.

Maybe they should just have a 3 rounds tournament, in each of these nations.

When is a final decision going to be taken?
