Only 3 interesting matches to watch here, and by interesting i mean we can't now for sure who will win. Ok in 2 we don't know, one is certain but still an interesting match to watch.
Baia Mare-Larvik will be interesting, i think HCM can make a surprise here. On the other hand they can completely fall apart and Larvik will beat them with fast breaks.
The second match is Fleury-FTC , not sure who will win here, but Fleury has a big chance.
The 3rd is ETO-FCM, and we know Gyor will win, but still FCM can put up a good fight and make this match exciting.

Quite long, as they also twice reached the CWC semi-final in recent time. (Last year they failed against Fleury)
I think Croatia is way behind Austria what the success rate belongs, as Podravka hasn`t made any impact in neither of the cups in the last 3-5 years.

Besides the HCM-Larvik game (and maybe Fleury-FTC), this round's boring and predictable. (Eagerly waiting for the CSM-Buducnost/HCM-Rostov clashes next week.)

Re: Champions League - Group Phase - Round 2
The tough matches as mentioned is Baia Mare- Larvik, Fleury - FTC & Gyor - FCM.
Baia Mare is favourite in my eyes, I think they are better than last year, and Pineau looks like she have found herself again, she has been mess most of time in Oltchim, Vardar & Krim, good for her. Larvik will still miss Wojtas & Stange, may Anja Edin is ready for match.
Baia Mare - Larvik 27-25
Fleury - FTC 29-24 Fleury look like the strongest team in this group, Minko, Niombla & Barbosa is great, the lack of bench could stop them further in the CHL.
Gyor - FCM 28-22 Gyor is just better.
Rostov, Vardar, Bucuresti, Buducnost & Thuringer will win easy, 7-12 goals.

IMHO that would be a huge upset. I wasn't impressed by Fleury against Thüringer, and I think FTC are clearly the better team. Still, anything can happen...

HCM Baia Mare (ROU) vs Larvik (NOR) +3 larvik's "hard core" is getting older and older from season to season, but im a hundred percent sure that they'll getting better than last week. but it doesnt save them from a defeat in away against hcm.
MKS Selgros Lublin (POL) vs Buducnost (MNE) -10
IK Sävehof (SWE) vs CSM București (ROU) -5
Rostov-Don (RUS) vs RK Krim Mercator (SLO) +9
Hypo Niederösterreich (AUT) vs HC Vardar (MKD) -7
Fleury Loiret (FRA) vs FTC-Rail Cargo (HUN) hard to predict. fleury didnt impress me at all in the 1st leg, but what conclusion can be drawn from the ftc-podravka? imho this match will give a correct picture about the power ranking in this group.
HC Podravka Vegeta (CRO) vs Thüringer HC (GER) -4
Györi Audi ETO KC (HUN) vs FC Midtjylland (DEN) +8 eto is back in business.

Re: Champions League - Group Phase - Round 2
Anja will be back against Krim.
Wojtas is still injured (cruciate ligament injury). Not sure when she will be back.
As for the game, I'm not convinced by Larvik so far. Lacking in defensive play and they shouldn't really be lacking there. Breivang, Hammerseng, Molid, Frafjord are not bad defensive players, so I don't really know whats up with that. The Mørk's and Kurtovic are good today. Toft, well I don't know, I think 29 goals is a bit too much. But Baia Mare is a really good team, so it's kinda OK.
Buducnost couldn't have had their best day at work, but Lublin was kinda good I thought. Don't get me wrong, Buducnost would have won anyway but it was fun seeing Lublin actually put up a fight. Great duels between Gega and Raičević also. When Zderic went down I think noticed a bit of panic all around. I hope she avoids injuries. What will Buducnost do if she's injured this season?
Sävehof-CSM. I can't help but to like Sävehof. I think Julia Eriksson will be a star in a few years time. I hope they get the chance to build this team up now and don't let players go as they have before. Olivia Mellegård is very, very promising. Where's Elin Karlsson? CSM did what they came to do and it was never any doubt about who was going to win.

With Nora in defense as right back some holes appeared. But else I agree.

Larvik is so good club.Their main pover this season will be that they can use Nora and Kurtovic on the right win and on the right back bouth of them.Kurtovic is in a great form.Pinau suprised me,she scores a lot.In Buducnost Neagu playes individually,Bulatovic is the best.Fleury can ge very good. They have good bac court:Barbossa,Bernandez,Niombla and Nze Minko.Midtjylland is dangerous,it's really to hard to play against them, they run 60 minutes, also they have Sabina Jacobsen in difence,Veronika Kristiansen is very good player.Vardar was very bad against Gyor, they didn't show anything good,in Gyor most impreessed me Anyko Kovacics, she is so good player, with great tactic. We will see what CSM can show against Buducnost,I belive in Buducnost and I hope that we will win.I would like to see Zacsik in good form,in 2013-14 season she was in top 5 best shooters. It's very bad that this season Leipzig is not in the CL,they have better team that last year:Mietzner nad Nadzienevicius are now there. In Rostov Ilina was brilliant! She is so amazing.I would like to mantion young players,at the first Jaukovic and Pletikosic, than Bazaliu.

Too early to predict anything but I'm 85% sure there's gonna be a Győr-Podgorica clash as the decisive match of this year.
(Do they still draw the semi-final pairings in the Final 4 this year?)

If they don't meet in semifinals... Yes, there'll be a draw.

Torturing myself with Hypo against Vardar during a rather dull Skype call.
9-22 at HT, Hypo with 12 turnovers compared to their nine goals. This is insane.
There's no way they would avoid relegation in Hungarian league...
