You are absolutely right. I has already happened in football.Bo$ko wrote:They are making league of instant big money clubs instead of league of champions.
You are too optimistic. World Cup in Qatar?Ref wrote:Gojira wrote:You are absolutely right. I has already happened in football.Bo$ko wrote:They are making league of instant big money clubs instead of league of champions.
That´s correct. But even in football they do not change the qualification criteria after the teams have performed domestically and take clubs in after a board meeting where money is offered. In football the equivalent to this would be like the Icelandic champion gets to qualify from the very bottom and would probably not get far, as per usual. Then Stuttgart of Germany, or a big mid table club from any of the major leagues, contacts UEFA to buy their place and a compensation under the table to the Icelandic club. UEFA then say ok after a good treatment by the Stuttgart board, but we don´t bother to put you through the hassle of qualifying, as you are meeting our "criteria" already ( market, tv-audience, stadium facilities, UEFA bosses luxury treatment etc), we simply put you through to the group stage. You know, even for football, with all the s**t going on there, this would just not be on. And certainly cause a scandal if it happened!

The list is OK. The pots are sh*t though.Bo$ko wrote:Gojira wrote:Where do you get the pots from? I was unable to find them on the EHF webpage. A link would be appreciated.
You can find a list of teams on ehf site. They usually order them according to rankings.
I also made almost the same prediction of pots, with placing CSM as a champion in pot 1, but EHF rated them as ROU1, so pot 2 for them.

Why don't you agree with pots? Maybe someone can clarify for champions, if it's directly seeded in 1st pot?
The right to organise tournaments will be awarded according to the seeding, which means that first right goes to the teams in Pot 1.
