^ Vipers big favorite, indeed. By the way, there is a huge request (20.000 tickets) for second game in Craiova!

That's cool
Vipers say that they could easily sell 5000
But capacity is only 2200 (1700 seat)

Nearest hall with that capacity is 300-400 kilometer away.
But normally Vipers has 1500-1800 spectators.

Why is Vipers so big favourites?
Only won 5 of 10 matches

Craiova with some good result against Brest, Kuban and Lada

Vipers is so strong at home, beating so clear Buducnost, Lada, Brest, Copenhagen, Viborg...

Craiova is in a bad shape these days and anyway they don't have star players like Lunde, Sulland or Brattset. Topscorer Florianu is not 100% healthy and play at lower level that she used to. I'm also wondering about pivot Klikovac, if is fully recovered after injury. She missed last couple of games. On opposite, Vipers look like they are in the top form.

Any opinions to the ukrainian referees?

I think, in most key scenes, they disadvantaged Craiova. Eg. absolutely curious, they don't do anything after the clear foul against Florianu at 47.26.

I don't say, they judge everything against Craiova, but in key scenes....

Edit: the foul is on the fourth video: https://www.digisport.ro/handbal/kristi ... ehf-440322

Edit 2: What is the content of this article? (in romanian). Burcea seems to be unsatisfied with the referees and the influence of the FRH?? https://www.digisport.ro/handbal/scanda ... frh-440879

Yes, the coach of SCM was very upset about the referees and about lack of fair play from Vipers; from these reasons his players couldn't concentrate, also, he said that SCM doesn't have enough experience to this level; if the referees were correct SCM could beat Vipers; in the second match from Craiova his team has chances of success if they succeed.to.score 26 goals.

Any reason why the rematch is played on Friday?
I suspect Romanian TVs don't want a collision with the event in Budapest, but... that's more of a personal guess.

By the information I got by a Norwegian newspaper is that they gonna use some of the same TV equipment in Craiova and Budapest and they need some time to get it to Budapest. Took 6 days to find the date. Will be a very expensive trip to Craiova because all the flight were full

Long trip from Kristiansand to Craiova

Kristiansand - Oslo - Istanbul - Bucuresti - then bus 200 km to Craiova

Craiova rent a flight directly from Craiova to Kristiansand

The match is at 19:30 local time and out of curiosity I checked the odds Craiova-Kristiansand 1.7 8.5 2.45

The 1st match I had the impression the Craiova’s players defense was good overall but the gks were not in their best day. Vipers looked like a solid team and I am curious to see how they manage the crowd pressure because there will be a lot of noise for sure.
If it is OK to ask, Lucy are you a fan or from the press ?

I can name at least three carriers which operate Oslo - Bucharest flights. So if they choose to fly to Bucharest via Istanbul, it's their problem.
Why not flying via New York? :D

Maybe they were full or maybe there is no connection flight from Kristiansand since there is a Romanian aircompany
Craiova also used 6 days to find the date, so the ticket could also be very expensive since they buy the ticket so close to traveldate

Yeah, and Turkish Airlines is low cost... :D
I see no excuses if Vipers will fail. They have (unquestionable) more experienced players and a much more balanced team. So let's not blame the wind, the stars and the Kilauea volcano (or find lame reasons to explain the unexplained). ;)

Craiova - Vipers 19-12

Craiova has been the best team
Norwegian team without saves
Would be tough night for the Norwegian girls

I think Craiova played really good the first half

Congratulations to Craiova

Craiova - Vipers 30-25 (19-12)
Craiova win 52-51

Really poor 1.half by Vipers
Had the chance by 20 seconds left

Ai ai ai

I think the referees themselves had no idea.
In conclusion, I declare that EHF must be destroyed

The TV anchor asked the same question to the Romanian coach and he said something about a time-out.
