My impression was that we stayed on 6m with no dynamic defence, it is just not enough to shake the hands up and move one step right or left...time to time I saw one player trying to step on 9m defence... but with no sustain from the rest of player. We pay the tribute for this kind of "defence" corroborated to our endemic lack of speed .

I didn't see the match and frankly I don't think I'll waste my time doing it. From what you say we're talking again about basic things that are lacking. Which really surprises me since Tadici has this aura of defense/discipline expert.

It's not the loss itself that worries me, but the magnitude. We were kind of counting this loss, but such a difference can throw you off for the rest of the competition. The big challenge now is to see how the teams pulls itself together, recovers and delivers today against Angola. If they manage to do that, it would be a major positive point for them. I also fear of our ability to deal with a non European style of play so we'll have to see.

Let's also not forget that this generation started very well and then it was completely screwed up by administration decisions and by Tirca Sr. ambitions. As annoying as he can be, Tadici is barely picking up the pieces.

Well they did it. 26-22 in a do-or-die match after the debacle yesterday. Credit to them. There still is something in this team. And now, Croatia, who they easily beat only 4 months ago in the qualification group. But both teams seem in a opposite state of mind compared to then.

RO-Angola 26-22 but we show same carences (a cheese defence !... lucky we haven't an european caliber opponent team). This time Tadici preferred a much stable formula (no Banciu,Severin,Stanga...etc... except the last 4-5 min) but Petrus,Popa,Mihart,Badea,Popescu and Tecar on right (Tecar replaced sec half) .Second half he used massively Tirca.

If we are lucky we reach 1/4 matches.
