2021 Women's WCh (Spain)

Playing dates are 2–19 December 2021. The definitive hosting cities are not yet known.

The World Championship would be expanded from 24 teams to 32 teams.

Winner of the tournament qualifies for the 2023 World Championship.

The minimum age of 16 is required for the participation; a player eligible to participate have to turn 16 years on the day of her first match at the latest.

Road for remaining (30) teams to qualify:

To be specified later as no details about the spots redistribution (due to the expansion from 24 to 32 teams) were officially announced until now.

I have read somewhere that each participating team can now bring 18 players to the bench instead of the current 16. Anyone knows whether this is true?
