I believe someone suggested (perhaps in Overtrådt) to cut the number of games in the pokal tournament and let the best teams enter later. Sounded to me like a good idea.

And yeah, I also wish the best teams would get and use more players. Also, I don’t recall the teams having more succes in CL or the NT making better results when there was 12 teams. :-k

no there might not have been better results at that point. problem is that at the same time we went to 14 teams the EHF increased the number of champions league games significantly. they went from likely minimum of 12 games for a Danish team to a likely minimum of 16 games. then you might say, well then it's the EHF that's the problem, and I would totally agree. however there is zero chance to influence them, so we are back to my point that the only thing the top teams could do was to try and change the Danish league

Odense - Esbjerg:

First half: https://www.mediafire.com/file/02rlicxl ... B1.ts/file
Second half: https://www.mediafire.com/file/yav70aap ... B2.ts/file

What a start to the playoff!
Is the tv's clock same as the game's clock? Because according to the tv's clock, the last goal of Esbjerg was clearly legal.

It is not. All parties accepted that the last goal of Esbjerg was after the buzzer in the hall. But by less than a second

I don't know if it interests anyone, but here is the second half of Herning Ikast - Esbjerg from yesterday:

Viborg - Odense. The first half file is enormous, 3.45 gb, I don't know why, so it will take the whole night to upload it.

First half (file size 3.45gb): https://www.mediafire.com/file/l0aqyvmp ... E1.ts/file
Second half: https://www.mediafire.com/file/o1crm2hr ... E2.ts/file

Who knew the fight for the 3rd place can be so exciting? Here are the last 22 minutes of the third and decisive match between Esbjerg and Herning Ikast: https://www.mediafire.com/file/em4xp5hm ... IH.ts/file

And in the weekend we'll have the Cup final4. Can't wait for the 3rd place match :)

So which teams were the positive and negative surprises of the season?

For me the positive is split between Ajax and Viborg. The negative for me is probably Randers.

Hard for me to say because this is the first season I can watch the Danish league, so I had no early expectations from the teams. I would say that Aarhus was a positive surprise for me in some of its games, surprising not only me but also some of its rivals. I was also surprised to learn that its name is Aarhus and not Aarhaus like I always thought

Nykobing was the disappointing team, with their squad they could have done better. But if they win the cup everything will be forgotten.

Yeah I guess I didn’t pick Aarhus because we’ve become used to positive surprises from them, but come to think about it, they really did impress me too, when I finally got to watch them.

Haha Aarhaus, the german version of Aarhus? :D

Cup final, Nykobing - Odense:

First half: https://www.mediafire.com/file/hx8jt5cz ... E1.ts/file
Second half, minutes 30-47: https://www.mediafire.com/file/8jgwfqh3 ... 2a.ts/file
Second half, minutes 48-60: https://www.mediafire.com/file/coqf8c1d ... 2b.ts/file
Celebrations and interviews: https://www.mediafire.com/file/zav5oyow ... ns.ts/file

That's the end of an entretaining handball season.

Oh no, I hope the Germans won't use my words as an excuse to conquer Denmark again!
