SIF–RK PERUTNINA PIPO 26 –34 (13–16)

According to the reports this was basically a match between amateurs and professionals. Croatians were bigger and stronger. They could reverse the game and put the pressure on the Finns much faster than any team here. The Croatians had a much deeper bench. Marko Bagaric has been mentioned everywhere as the best player of the match.

It is claimed that Sif played a little bit under their level, but that even if they had overplayed it wouldn't have made much difference. They committed lots of personal mistakes and made some bad shots. As usual Marcus Sjöstedt was the best player in the team.

The 8 goal difference is not that bad, though.

Challenge Cup:
RK Konjuh - Cocks 29 - 36 (14-19)
Cocks - Ankara 35 - 29 (16-15)

So Cocks is going to the 3rd round. This is such a weak competition Cocks has a chance to go pretty far, if they can get a good draw. In this tournament Cocks's opening line-up has been unstoppable. However, their bench is not that deep and that will be bad for them in the future.

Cocks has arranged this tournament in a town called Hyvinkää which is not their home town. Even in the 90's there was a handball team there, but a few years ago the team died out. With a proper marketing this tournament might lead to a new handball team in Hyvinkää.

The greeks demolished the bus of Vardar and once again proved their hostile behavior and inhospitality towards Macedonians!

They have problems with our name Macedonia and are trying on every way to block us to enter in NATO and EU. But this is not the subject we can explain if you want but on other topic.

BTW I think that is already clear who is going in the next round.

It's not a Macedonian, nor a greek point of view, so you can say it's pretty objective.

Cup Winners Cup

Wacker Thun 33-29 Gorenje (33-36)
Big disappointment...
Wacker Thun was the worst possible opponent in 2nd round IMO. But before the draw everyone looked happy. Gorenje coach was really surprised how fast were they after 1st match ?!... It looked like they had no idea about Wacker Thun...

Vardar-PAOK 43-29

The game was clear after 10 min play. Vardar from the start made an adventage of 7 goals and was better opponent in all aspects of the game.

Just to add that, the ancient Macedonians didn’t just “disapear” from the map.

Today’s Macedonian language is a part of the family of Slavic languages, but the name and the roots of the people are Macedonian.

Those are the basics of the identity of the Macedonian people.

And congratulations Vardar, we are proud of you!!! :D

I think that he didn't score but he is good player tonight he was well guarded and that's why he didn't have a chanse to show his qualities.

BTW Vardar has a great team this season and they should be the champions in the Macedonian league. They had a control on the result from the start and the win was certain.

Cup Winners Cup:

Lottery drum 1:

Ademar León (ESP), Bjerringbro-Silkeborg (DIN), HSV Hamburgo (GER), Vardar Pro (MKD), Haslum HK (NOR), Dinamo Bucarest (RUM), SKIF-Krasnodar (RUS) y Wacker Thun (AUT)

Lottery drum 2:

Bosna Sarajevo (BIH), RK Zagreb (CRO), Panellinios Atenas (GRE), Sandefjord (NOR), Wisla Plock (POL), Constanta (RUM), Kadetten Schaffhausen (SUI) y Portovik Yuzhny (UKR)

I think that Ademar and Hamburgo on the lottery drum 1 and Zagreb in the 2 are the teams who nobody wants.
