You have to remember that the mid-defence are injured in Kolding - Lars Krogh Jeppesen and Anders Oeschler.
In comparison it would be the same if the Swedish NT missed Jernemyr and Karlsson at the same time !

Trust me, when we get to the play-offs Kolding wont back down so easily.

And two of KIF's most important players in attack was half-injured too.

Bo Spelleberg had a crick in the neck and could barely shoot and didn't play too much. AGKs coach noticed that and said in a time-out that he couldn't shoot so they just had to watch for his trademark passes to the pivot and don't worry about his shot.

Kasper Søndergaard had still not fully recovered from the injury Bertrand Gill gave him in the beginning of the WCh final.

But KIF has been quite disappointing the first half season. They got of to a very bad start and lost to teams they were not supposed to lose to.

KIF Kolding - Nordsjælland Håndbold 32-32 (12-17)

AaB - AG København 26-31 (13-13)

AaB: Henrik Toft Hansen 6, Jonas Larholm 5 (1), Jan Lennartsson 4, Henrik Møllgaard 3, Ask Olof 3, Rasmus Carlsen 2, Tobias Torpegaard Møller 2, Mads Christiansen 1.

AG København: Arnór Atlason 6, Rene Toft Hansen 5, Cristian Malmagro Viana 4 (1), Snorri Gudjonsson 3, Jakob Green Jensen 3, Stefan Hundstrup 3, Niclas Ekberg 3 (2), Kasper Hvidt 2, Joachim Boldsen 1, Mikkel Hansen 1.

Suspensions: AaB 0, AG København 3.

Attendance: 4.360.

Two goals in the same match by Kasper Hvidt, that's very rare for a keeper.
Also very rare for a keeper to score twice as many gaols as Mikkel Hansen.

Yes, figures so far are:
Total/Games/Pr game
222.996 123 1.813

As the high score:
AGK Home:
56.952 9 6.328
AGK Away:
22.459 8 2.807
Interesting figures would be total max capacity also,- bearing in mind that this figure is variable. :-k

Ye true, arena capacity in Denmark is poor almost embarrassing for a country
like Denmark. Denmark is a rich country but you dont spend money on arenas.

Most teams play in the school halls. (8 of 14 teams play in school halls)

Btw sold out in Ålborg few days aga when AGK visited, 4.300.

Mens league will have approximately 400,000 this year above 2000 in average and the womens league below 1000 so yep big difference this season.

Play off will be a big party this season.

AG København (7500 capacity)
AaB Håndbold (4300 capacity)
Århus Håndbold (4600 capacity)
Skjern Håndbold (Skjern might play a few games in Herning during the play off)
Silkeborg (3500 capacity)
Kolding (3000 capacity)
And the rest is a joke

Play off will have average above 3000. And just imagen AGK-Skjern in the final best of 5 games, 3 times sold out 7500 and 2 times sold out 12.000 ;) and semifinal best of 3 games AGK-AaB or Silkeborg and Skjern-Århus. Kolding will not play semifinal they will only make top8 play off.

BTW today: http://www.handboll.info/TVWebb/
1615 TV2Danmark Skjern Håndbold - AG Köpenhamn, Danska ligan herrar

Sold out 5000 and Hansen, I hope for a download :D

Why not AGK and Skjern in CL, AGK will play in Malmö arena and Skjern in Herning arena :D and lets hope that Århus will snap the 3 CL qualifier ticket and play in Nergi arena.

Excuse me, please get the facts. 8 of 14 teams didn't play in a school halls!?!? I think 3 of the teams in the league did and it's Lemvig with a capacity about 1.000 and the same with FIF and Nordsjælland.

The capacity in arenas in the Danish Jack & Jones League:

AG København: 7.500
Skjern Håndbold: 5.000 (Herning) / 2.200 (Skjern Bank Arena)
Århus Håndbold: 4.600
AaB Håndbold: 4.300
Team Tvis Holstebro: 3.300 (new arena)
KIF Kolding: 3.000 (Nearly about 4.000)
Viborg HK: 2.800
Fredericia HK Elite: 2.250 (They are talking about they will have a new capacity on about 3.000)
HC Midtjylland: 2.000
Bjerringbro-Silkeborg: 1.900
Mors-Thy Håndbold: 1.500
Nordsjælland Håndbold: 1.000
Lemvig-Thyborøn Håndbold: 1.000
FIF København: 1.000

Ye Team Tvis Holstebro got one a few days ago. But according to Wilbek that must be school halls  since Kristianstad is  ....

Anyway...

AaB showing good form 33-28 today against Århus. They might snap Medvedi from Russia.

Next up Skjern - AGK.

They play today's match against AGK in the sold out round arena in Herning (capacity 5,000).
This is not the new arena used for the Women's ECh with a capacity of approx 12,000).

The match has just begun and is shown live on TV2.

I'd like to know which position is Magnus Bramming playing, wing or playmaker ?

I'd have seen him once playing in youth and i enjoyed a lot, very skillfull , reminds a bit Daniel Svensson ( while playing as playmaker ), maybe he can be a great choice after Lars Chrsitiansen retire

Bramming is left wing, but I think there are som more talentfull players on that position.

For example Casper U. Mortensen, Jeppe Riber, Jørgen Rasmussen, Steffan Hundstrup and Mikkel Saad.

I watched both matches yesterday. This weekend I watched two elitserie matches, two Jack & Jones matches and two Bundesliga matches and 40 min Larvik Dinamo and tonight I'll watch Real Valladolid.

Best match of the week Skjern AGK balanced game with great quality and atmospheres. Might watch the game again tomorrow so tx for upload.

Next week begins CL, crazy I will sleep in front of the handball TV. Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Spain, CL.

Peter bredsdorf Larsen the assistant national coach, and coach of AaB, leaves AaB handball after this season. He does not yet know what i will do or maybe take a year off. But he insists of staying i Aarhus with his family, so coaching jobs within driving distance are limitid.

IMO he is a below average coach, yes he won the titel with AaB last year, but he had a great team, so it schould happen once in a while no matter who is the coach.

But as a coach he seems weak.

Before he came to AaB he did not have succes, and insistet on a very offensive defence though it did not work.

In AaB he keeps taking the keeper out, though it does not work.

Though AaB won, the team have under achieved in the years he have had AaB IMO, but with the play off like we have it i Denmark, you just need to win the right games to become champion.

Finally i dislike when coaches before the match lie about their chances to take the pressure off. And he ofent do that, worst case before a european Cup game against Sávehoff where he said it was 50-50 who would go trough trough it was obvius 95-5 and a huge failuere if they schould lose.

Kasper Irming wery skillet RB is on his way to the new AaB team by the way.
Think I will go for something possitive here - Handball is just a great sport!

News from Denmark:

A.G. Handball vs. BSV will be on Tv today at 18:30, so probebaly stream somewhere on the web.

Interesting match, Mikkel Hansen was saved in the last game for A.G. so he will be 100% ready and motivated, but Landin still strong in the BSV goal, keeping Grosswalstad on only 22 goals this weekend.

In AaB they worry for Kjelling, later today we will now if he til be out for 1 or 9 months..
